Palak Paneer Recipe | How to Make Easy Palak Paneer-Spinach and Cottage Cheese Recipe


Palak paneer is one of the favourite recipe among north Indians. you can serve this recipe with naan, chapati or paranthas. This is a healthy recipe of palak paneer with details and video. 

Ingredients


Palak 500 gm
Soaked channa dal  1 cup
(For 1 hour)
Water 1/2 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Mustard oil 3 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Chopped garlic 1 tsp
Chopped onion 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Hing 1/2 tsp
Red pepper 1/2 tsp
Tomato paste 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Paneer cubes 250 gm

Instructions To Make 


  1. Take Palak 500 gm, wash it properly and Chop it Roughly 
  2. Transfer into pressure cooker add Soaked channa dal  1 cup (For 1 hour), add Water 1/2 cup, Salt 1/2 tsp then Cook upto 3 whistles on medium flame 
  3. Blend it and make a puree  
  4. Take karahi and add Mustard oil 3 tsp
  5. Add Cumin seeds 1 tsp when cumin seeds starts cracking then add Chopped garlic 1 tsp, Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  6. Now Cook until turns brown 
  7. Add Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp,Hing 1/2 tsp,Red pepper 1/2 tsp,Tomato paste 1 cup
  8. Cook it until dry 
  9. Add Turmeric powder 1 tsp,Salt 1/2 tsp,Garam masala 1 tsp and Mix well 
  10. Add prepared palak puree and Mix well 
  11. Add Paneer cubes and Mix well 
  12. Cover the lid and Cook for 1 minute
  13. Delicious Palak Paneer is ready to eat.
